Q. wHEN DO APPLICATIONS OPEN?
A. This year applications open at the beginning of January and close on Friday, March 25.
Q. Who should apply for the Future of Hope Institute?
A. Rising Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors in Knoxville area high schools are eligible to apply.
Q. How can I apply?
A. You may apply to the program by following this link: Future of Hope 2021 Application.
Q. When will I be notified that I’ve been accepted?
A. Acceptance notifications will be sent out by the first week of May.
Q. How long does the program run?
A. The Future of Hope Institute is a nine-month-long program that begins in late June or early July and runs through March of the following year.
Q. When is the 2021 cohort’s immersion week?
A. Immersion week for the 2021-2022 Cohort is scheduled to run from the evening of Sunday, June 27th to the evening of Friday, July 2nd.
Q. What are you doing to protect Scholars during COVID-19?
A. During these unprecedented times, the Future of Hope Institute has pivoted online to allow our scholars to have the best and safest possible experience. When there are in-person events, we follow all CDC guidelines including physical distancing and masking to ensure the safety of our scholars, mentors, interns, and staff.
Q. What is the Faith & Justice Summit?
A. The Faith and Justice Summit is an opportunity for high school students and youth leaders to reflect on injustice in our society, engage in biblical conversation, and connect with like-minded students from different backgrounds. Through workshops, a keynote speaker, and roundtable discussions, students will gain knowledge about how to respond to injustice and be empowered to take biblical action that will impact the Knoxville community.
