The Faith and Justice Summit is a conference-style event aimed at encouraging high school students and youth workers to think and reflect on the intersection of their Christian faith and justice issues in society. Through workshops, speakers and round table discussions, participants will gain knowledge about issues of injustice and will be empowered to take biblical action to address the issues that impact our communities.

The cost for registration is $25 per adult and $15 per student.

Registration includes lunch and a conference T-shirt.

***We do have scholarship opportunities to cover the cost of registration for those with a financial burden.

2019 Faith and Justice Summit Keynote Speakers

  Pastor Mayra Macedo-Nolan   Pastor Mayra is the director of Community Outreach Ministries at Lake Avenue Church in Pasadena, California. Mayra is passionate about the difference positive adult role models can make in the education and life of a young person. Mayra has had extensive training in the areas of organizational and personal leadership, as well as youth and community development.

  Reverend Dr. Shawn Cassellberry   Shawn is a passionate advocate for justice, writer, and Executive Director for Mission Year, a leading national Christian ministry that invites 18-29 year olds to pursue a lifestyle of loving God and loving people in the city. Shawn is committed to living out the holistic gospel, creating inclusive community, and mobilizing the church around issues of racial and economic justice. Shawn speaks and writes on topics of faith, race, justice and beloved community.

  Pastor Keith Norman   Keith is the lead servat at the Factory Church, a racially diverse church in Woodstock, GA. Keith attended Trinity International University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Youth Ministry. He served as Youth and Worship Pastors at Waukegan Community Church for five years. He served as Director of Ethnic Diversity at Trinity, and most recently served for nine years as Associate Pastor at BridgePointe Church in Woodstock, GA.
